Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) The President of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo met with parliament members loyal to speaker Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawaari on Saturday in Mogadishu, source close to the meeting told media.

The President and the members discussed how to resolve the dispute between the parliament and cabinet, according to the source.

The MPs are said to be seven members, formed by Jawaari to resolve the current dispute.

In the past few days, a great dispute was erupted in the parliament and the cabinet after some of the MPs mostly ministers filed a motion to sack Jawaari.

Last week, the parliament had been scheduled to hold a meeting in Mogadishu to vote for the motion against Jawaari, but the meeting has failed.

MPs in the cabinet ministers of Hassan Ali Khaire are backing the motion against Jawaari.

The dispute was lasting more than a month, and delayed the operations of the Somali federal government based in Mogadishu.
