Hargeisa-(Puntland Mirror) Somaliland security forces have arrested Somali musician Farhan Hidig in administration’s capital, Hargeisa.
A reliable source suggests that the artist has been arrested in connection with political issues.
In recent, Farhan Hidig has announced that he will run for Somali federal MP when Somalia holds new election later this year.
On September 2015, Somaliland police have arrested the Horn Stars for purportedly waving Somalia’s flag at a concert.
Hargeisa administration has declared itself independent from the rest of Somalia in 1991 but not recognized as a country.
