Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud has condemned the recent terrorist attack in France.

“On behalf of the Somali Federal Republic and the people of Somalia, we join the world in condemning the brutal attack of civilians in Nice. We grieve with those who have lost loved ones. We pray for the families affected. Our thoughts are with the French government as it seeks to provide support to its people’’.

“The terrorist have once again murdered more than innocent people last night. They do not have any good intention other than wreaking havoc and destruction across the world. He added that terrorism is a global threat, requiring collective responsibility, adding that Somalia – as it is a country hit by terror acts – continues to work closely with the international community to eradicate extremist groups.
