Somali intelligence forces thwarts car bomb in Mogadishu

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Somali intelligence forces have thwarted a car bomb attack in Hodan district of Mogadishu on Sunday night, Official said.

The spokesman of Banadair region, Abdifatah Omar Halane said the forces have caught a car loaded with powerful explosion items and other types of weapons including AK-47 and RPG.

It is not clear who owned that car bomb, but Banadir region’s spokesman accused armed group al-Shabab which has carried out a string of similar attacks.
