Somali cabinet appointed NISA Chief, Commander of Police Forces

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Somali cabinet ministers has appointed NISA Chief and Commander of Police Forces in a meeting in Mogadishu on Monday.

Osman Sheikh Hussein was appointed as the new Chief of National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), while General Bashir Abdi Mohamed was appointed as new Commander of Police Forces.

In late October 2017, Somali cabinet fired former NISA Chief Abdullahi Mohamed Ali Sanbalooshe, and former Commander of Police Forces Abdihakim Dahir Saaid, following a truck bomb in Mogadishu that killed more than 500 people.
