According to the residents, the rain fell in parts of Sanag, Bari and Karkar regions.
The areas received significant rainfall include, Elbuh and Hadaftimo villages of Sanag region, rural areas under Qandala coastal town of Bari region also received rainwater, it also lashed some parts of Karkar region particularly Waiye district.
The Gu’ rainy season, usually April to May is expected to begin soon.
The rain comes as the whole country faces a severe drought, which killed hundreds of people and livestock.
