Hundreds of Mogadishu residents protest against attack at Prophet’s mosque

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Hundreds of Somali people in Mogadishu have on Monday staged demonstration against attack at Prophet’s mosque in Madina.

The demonstrators carried signs reading “We are ready to offer our lives to the defense of Harameyn and Muslim bloods”.

The demonstration was organized by the Somali religious leaders.

Some of the religious leaders with loudspeakers addressed the demonstrators and said that it is obligatory upon each and every Muslim to react if a sacred place such as the grave and the Mosque of the Prophet is wronged by anybody.

It was 4 July, when a suicide bomber blew himself up near the Prophet’s mosque in Madina and killed four security officers.
