Al-Shabab claims responsibility for killing of director in Bosaso’s presidential palace

Garowe-(Puntland Mirror) Al-Shabab armed group has claimed responsibility for the killing of Puntland’s Bosaso presidential palace.

Adan Gas Huruse was shot dead in front of Huruse hotel in Bosaso port town of Bari region on Tuesday evening, according to witnesses.

The Al-Shabab’s military operations spokesman, Abdiasis Abu Musab has told the Reuters news agency that it had killed the official.

“This evening we killed the director in Bosasso.” Abdiasis Abu Musab, told Reuters.

Adan Gas, 60, was served as the director of Puntland presidential palace in Bosaso since 2002.

Puntland’s President Abdiweli Mohamed Ali sent his condolences to the director’s family, according to statement from the President’s office.
