Puntland forces arrive in Sool region

Garowe-(Puntland Mirror) More troops from Puntland especially the Danab Armed Forces have arrived in an areas of Sool region on Sunday, officials said.

The officials of Puntland told Puntland Mirror that the forces are in the region to stop the efforts of Somaliland to bring ballot boxes to the area.

The forces built military bases in Taleex historical village of Sool region, according to sources.

Earlier this week, Puntland deployed heavily armed forces to Sool and Sanaag regions.
