Zoobe junction is renamed to honor victims of Mogadishu bomb attack

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) A Zoobe junction in Mogadishu was renamed in honor of victims of Mogadishu truck bombing, Mogadishu mayor said.

Speaking to reporters in Mogadishu on Thursday, Mogadishu mayor Tabid Abdi Mohamed said the old junction’s name was changed and it is now called “October 14” to remember the victims of Mogadishu truck bombing.

At least 350 people mostly civilians were killed and more 300 others wounded when a truck exploded at Zoobe junction on October 14.
