Somali Foreign Minister Arrives in Garowe

Garowe-(Puntland Mirror) Somalia’s Foreign Minister Abshir Omar Huruuse arrived in Puntland’s capital Garowe on Tuesday.

The minister and his delegation were welcomed by Puntland ministers including finance minister Hassan Shire Abgal and interior minister Mohamed Abdirahman Dhabancad.

Abshir Omar, speaking to reporters, said that his delegation is part of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud’s visit to Puntland.

Upon arriving in Garowe, the minister held talks with Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni and his deputy Ahmed Elmi Osman.

Somali President Hassan Sheikh, who took office in May, is scheduled to arrive in Garowe this week, where he will meet with Puntland leaders and different segments of the people.
