In a statement issued on Saturday, Puntland has urged its people to be prepared for the protection of the dignity of Puntland people and the liberation of the Somaliland-held territory.
The announcement came after Puntland cabinet held an emergency meeting in Garowe on Saturday, discussing the situation in the region.
Last week, multiple people have been reportedly killed in fierce fighting between the armed forces of Puntland and Somaliland in Tukarak village of Sool region.
