Puntland MP dies of bomb attack wound

He died in a hospital in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, where he was receiving treatment over the last few days.

He critically wounded when a bomb attached to his car exploded in Galkayo town of Mudug region on March 08 this year.  

No one has claimed the responsibility for the attack so far, but suspicion fell on Al-Shabab armed group, which carried out similar attack against the Puntland officials in the past.

In a letter of condolence issued by the Puntland Parliament on Sunday, Puntland’s deputy speaker of Parliament, Abdihamid Abdisalam Ise has offered his condolences over the death of former Puntland MP Abdikadir Farah Botan.
