IGAD heads of state summit concluded in Mogadishu

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) The summit of the heads of state of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) concluded in Mogadishu on Tuesday afternoon.

During the summit, South Sudan’s civil war as well as preparations for Somali elections was discussed by the leaders.

The IGAD summit will be the first held in Somalia since the body’s formation 30 years ago, according to Somali officials.
