Former Somali state minister for environmental issues laid to rest in Mogadishu

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Somali state minister for environmental issues, Buri Mohamed Hamza who was killed by al-Shabab militants during a raid on hotel in Mogadishu last Saturday was buried in Mogadishu.

The funeral was attended by government officials including the Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud and family members of late Hamza.

Hamza was among at least 17 people who were on June 25 killed in Nasa-hablod hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.

Buri Mohamed Hamza was also a member of the Somali federal parliament and he becomes the sixteen MP to be killed in Mogadishu during the last four years.
