Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Seven Kenyan soldiers and at least five Somali government forces were killed in Al-Shabab attack in Hosingo village in Lower Juba region of Somalia, sources said.
At least ten soldiers from both nations were also injured in the attack.
The attack took place on Sunday as the allied forces from Hosingo to Dobley town when their vehicles were hit by roadside bomb, according to sources.
Al-Shabab armed group has claimed the responsibility for the attack, the group said they used an improvised explosive device to damage the allied forces counter to them.
