The meeting took place at the Turkish embassy in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
The President and the ambassador discussed issues related to the drought in Puntland and how Turkey will support those affected by drought.
President Abdiweli appealed to the Turkey to help people affected by drought in the Puntland regions.
On his part, Turkish ambassador promised that his country would help the people affected by drought.
