Garowe-(Puntland Mirror) Puntland police forces in Garowe have detained members of the so-called “Puntland Salvage Forum”, police officials told Puntland Mirror.
Former Puntland Minister of Heath Abdiraman Saeed Mohamoud known as Dhago-weyne, ex Somali MP Dahir Iro were among those detained in Garowe on Friday.
Local trader, Duni Mohamed Guleto is also among the detained members.
According to the reports, Governor of Nugal region Omar Abdullahi Faroweyne gave the order to arrest those members, accusing of disrupting regional security.
The arrested members have been holding meetings in Garowe in the past few weeks, criticizing the government of President Abdiweli Mohamed Ali.
