Puntland forces clash with ISIS fighters in Bashashin area of Bari region

Garowe-(Puntland Mirror) Puntland government forces clashed with ISIS militants in Bashaashin area which is lies around 35 km east of Qandala, military sources told Puntland Mirror.

There are no immediate reports on casualties until now.

The operation to free Qandala from one month of ISIS rule marks the first time that the Puntland forces and ISIS fighters have fought in the region.
