Kenyan president accepts invitation to Farmajo’s inauguration

Nairobi-(Puntland Mirror) Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has received a message from Somalia’s newly President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo urging to attend his inauguration ceremony, which will take place in the Somali capital, Mogadishu next week.

According to the state-run Radio Mogadishu the message was conveyed by Somali Foreign Minister Abdisalam Omar Hadliye, when the Kenyan President received him in the state house in Nairobi on Thursday.

Somali embassy in Kenya said that the Kenyan President Uhuru has accepted to attend the inauguration ceremony, as cited by Radio Mogadishu.

Earlier Thursday, Mr. Farmajo officially took over the presidential place (Villa Somalia).
