Heavily armed forces seized Puntland Parliament hall in Garowe

It is not clear why the army seized the hall, but reports indicate that they were angered after the government failed to pay their payments.

The army held at least 15 MPs inside the hall of the Parliament, sources close to the Parliament told Puntland Mirror.

The striking forces are from Galkayo town, and they have not received wages for more than a year, according to the sources.
