Director of Puntland’s Bosaso presidency shot dead in Bosaso

The gunmen fled the scene after the killing, according to the witnesses.

There is no immediate claim of responsibility for the killing, however Al-Shabab militants often carried out such attacks which targeted officials of Puntland government in Bosaso.

This comes less than a week, after Puntland’s deputy police officer was killed in an attack in Bosaso, claimed by Al-Shabab armed group.
