Breaking: Huge explosion heard in Mogadishu

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) A huge blast and gunfire have been heard in the Somali capital, Mogadishu this night, according to the residents.

Residents in the capital told to the Puntland Mirror that they heard a huge explosion and gunfire in the parts of the town.

It was not immediately clear who was responsible the explosion and the gunfire, but al-Shabab group has carried out more attacks in the past for such actions.

The developments come after hours when Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud has sacked Somali National Intelligence agency’s chief, Abdirahman Mohamoud Tuuryare, according to the presidential degree.
