The three men found guilty of raping and killing Asho Ilyas Adan in Galkayo town in February this year, DNA test conducted by Puntland Forensic Center showed.
Those sentenced to death included two brothers.
The court released seven others who accused of involving in the case.
The verdict can be appealed within 30 days, Sheikh Abdinur added.
