Somalia’s cabinet sacks auditor general

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Somalia’s cabinet ministers on Thursday sacked the auditor general Nour Farah Jim’ale a day after his body guards killed minister of public works and reconstruction in Mogadishu.

Abbas Abdullahi Siraji was killed in Mogadishu last night when the bodyguards of Somalia’s auditor general opened fire on a car carrying the minister.

Earlier Thursday, Somalia’s security forces arrested two bodyguards of auditor general over killing of Siraji.

The late Siraji has been buried in Mogadishu on Thursday.
