Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud has arrived today in Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya and becomes first Somali President to visit this camp since 1991 when thousands of Somali fled their home.
Sheikh’s visit to Kenya on Monday comes just weeks after the Kenyan government announced its plans to close down Dadaab by November this year.
The camp has been a host to thousands of refugees, mainly from Somalia and Sudan who fled from civil wars in their countries.
