Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Somali intelligence officer gunned down by Al-Shabab gunmen on Sunday in Mogadishu, security and medical sources said.
Al-Shabab gunmen travelling in a car have sprayed ammunitions on a vehicle carrying Mohamud Hassan Moalim known as Qooley in Dharkeynlay district of Mogadishu, according to sources.
Qoolay was taken to hospital but later he died to injuries, medical sources said.
Two of his protectors also wounded in the attack.
Al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack, its mouthpiece Radio Andalus broadcasted.
