Qarjab urges Puntland people to work together for peace

Speaking to Radio Daljir in Puntland on Wednesday, Qarjab has urged Puntlad citizens and others to work together with the government for peace.

“Puntland is a safe location in Somalia, where different people come together due to safety, we call on Puntland citizens or others to work together with the government on security issues and development,” Qarjab said.

“The people are obliged to fight against those who want to do troubles in their region.” He added.

Puntland has avoided most of the violence triggered by Somali civil war, but in recent years it has faced conflict with terrorist groups such as Al-Shabab and ISIS.
