The shooting came when local mobs fired on a car carrying Khat that headed for Bosaso port town, according to Daljir.
The departed soldier identified as Dhago-weyne and his body was taken to Bosaso hospital.
There is no comment from the government if the mobs involved in the shooting of guns were arrested.
