Mortar shells kill two people in Baidoa

Baidoa-(Puntland Mirror) At least two people were killed and 18 others were wounded in a mortar attack in Baidia south west of Somalia, an official said.

“The mortar ammunitions killed two civilian and wounded 18 others,” Abdullahi Ali Watin, Baido’s district mayor told to the reporters.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but armed group al-Shabab has launched similar attacks in the past.
