Ethiopia deploys more troops to central Somalia

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Ethiopia government has deployed more new troops to central Somalia, resident said.

Resident in Halgan area of Hiiraan region who spoke to the media said more armed troops from Ethiopia have been arrived in the village, which Ethiopia has military base.

The developments come just three days after the al-Shabab fighters stormed Ethiopian troops base in Halgan of central Somalia, the group said it had killed around 43 of Ethiopian soldiers but Ethiopian government spokesman, Getachew Reda dismissed a claim by al-Shabab.
