Somali US-trained forces attacked Al-Shabab base in Lower Shabelle region

According to the sources, more than 500 of Danab soldiers were attended the attack against the militants.

There was no immediate comment from the Somali government officials on Saturday’s attack.

It is not clear if there were casualties from the attack.

In recent years, the Somali forces and AMISOM troops have stepped up their attacks in southern Somalia against Al-Shabab fighters.
