Somalia’s Defence Minister resigns

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Somalia’s Defence Minister has resigned on Thursday.

Abdirashid Abdullahi Mohamed submitted his resignation letter to Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khayre, who accepted it.

The resignation of the minister came hours after Somalia’s army chief Mohamed Ahmed Jama has resigned from his post.

However, the reasons for their resignation are unclear yet.
