Puntland’s ministry of planning official shot dead in Galkayo

Galkayo-(Puntland Mirror) Unidentified gunmen have shot dead the head of Puntland’s ministry of planning in Mudug region, residents said.

Resident in Galkayo town who spoke to Puntland Mirror by phone said the incident took place in Garsoor village of Galkayo after Makhrib prayer.

The name of the diseased official was identified as Abdullahi Mohamed Farah.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the killing, however al-Shabab militants often carried out such attacks which targeted officials of Puntland government in Galkayo town.
