Puntland soldier sentenced to death for defecting to Somaliland

Garowe-(Puntland Mirror) A military court in Puntland has sentenced a soldier to death in absentia for the defecting to Somaliland, chairman of military court Saeed Abyan Igal announced on Tuesday.

The chairman of the court said that the soldier is a criminal, and will be executed when captured.

Mohamed Mohamoud Guure, former Puntland soldier with military vehicle was defected to Somaliland in March by crossing Tukaraq village, where heavily-armed forces from both administrations stationed.
