Puntland security forces to beef up security in Galkayo town

Mohammed Ise Warsame, the second deputy governor of Mudug region told local media that the security forces launched an operation to ensure the security of Galkayo.

Warsame has warned the drivers to use car window tinting to make sure the public safety.

The operation comes two days after Puntland’s police chief Abdikadir Shire Farah appointed Osman Hassan Awke also called (Af-dolow) as the new police officer of Mudug region.
