Puntland President expected to visit Qandala coastal town

Garowe-(Puntland Mirror) Puntland’s President Abdiweli Mohamed Ali will pay a historic visit to Qandala coastal town in the coming hours, becoming the first Puntland president to visit there in nearly 18 years.

During his visit to Qandala, President Ali will hold meetings with government officials and security officers in the town.

Last month, Puntland armed forces recaptured Qandala from ISIS militants, who seized in late October.
