Omar Mohamed, who works Horseed Media news site was jailed in Garowe on Sunday night, according to MAP.
It was unclear why Mohamed was arrested, but this is one of the intimidations against the media by the government.
Several journalists were arrested in Puntland in the past few months, raising concerns over the freedom of journalist working in the region.
