One of the gunmen who wounded Colonel Haji Arish is died in southern Galkayo

Galkayo-(Puntland Mirror) One of the gunmen who wounded Colonel Haji Arish in Galkayo is dead, witness in Wadjair village of southern Galkayo where the man was dead, told Puntland Mirror.

The witness said that the gunman was wounded after being shot to death by residents when they wounded Col. Haji Arish.

“Civilians in the area when the gunmen were assaulted the Colonel, has opened fire on the three men and one of them was wounded after being shot in the back, he died on Thursday night in Wadajir village of southern Galkayo.” An eyewitness who requested anonymity said.

Col. Arish who served as commander of Puntland Daraawiish forces is still being treated in GMC hospital for injuries sustained last night, according to medical sources.
