Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Britain’s Foreign Secretary has arrived in the Somali capital, Mogadishu on Wednesday.
The Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo received Boris Johnson in the Presidential place (Villa Somalia).
During and hour-long meeting the President and Foreign Secretary discussed a number of issues including assistance for people affected by drought in Somalia, the fight against Al-Shabab militants and other issues related to the cooperation between the two countries.
Britain will host an international conference on Somalia in May this year, as planned.
