“Dear President, hope you are doing. As per our discussion today, I am writing to inform you that I have resigned from my post as the chief of staff as from today, 25th on February, 2017. It has been my honor and privilege to serve you for three years.” The letter read.
In the letter, he did not mention the reason behind his resignation.
Mr. Deeq was appointed the director of the presidency by President Abdiweli Mohamed Ali in January of 2014.
