Nearly 20 killed in blast at Mogadishu market

The blast occurred in Kawo-godey market in Mogadishu, as the people were shopping there.

Most of the victims are said to be civilians.

There are fears that the death toll will rise further.

No one has so far claimed the responsibility for the Saturday’s attack, but suspicion fell on Al-Shabab armed group, which carried out similar attacks in the past.
