According to the sources, the fighting started after NISA forces tried to halt a parliament session by Galmudug administration who want to elect new president after they fired the President Guled.
Residents told Puntland Mirror over phone that they heard gunshots.
Puntland Mirror could not confirm the casualties from the fighting.
Last week, Galmudug’s lawmakers sacked President Abdikarim Hussein Guled, accusing him of inaction, but he refused to concede that dismiss.
