Somalia’s NISA forces arrests Mogadishu port attack mastermind

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) has arrested the mastermind of the Al-Shabab attack at Mogadishu port earlier this month.

NISA commander of Banadir region Mohamed Hassan Faran-fir said, as cited by Somali National News Agency (SONNA).

The security forces arrested Mohamed Ibrahim Hassan in an operation at Km-50 in Lower Shabelle region on Monday evening, according to the NISA commander.

At least 25 people were killed in a car bomb attack at Mogadishu port earlier this month, claimed by Al-Shabab armed group.
