Somalia’s new interior minister takes office

Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Somalia’s Interior Minister Abdi Farah Saeed also known as “Juha” officially took over the Ministry of interior and federal affairs on Saturday in Mogadishu.

In the handover ceremony, the new Minister of Interior, Abdi Farah Saeed said that the handover has to face a tough task as they will focus on public service.

“We are pleased to take over the office, we would like to continue the work, we will work together,” Juha said.

He noted that they will work with good intentions, transparency and discussion to eliminate the tough situation in the country.

The handover came three days after the Somali parliament approved the cabinet ministers proposed by PM Hassan Ali Khayre.
