Mogadishu-(Puntland Mirror) Somali Minister of Information Abdirahman Omar Osman aka “Yariisow” has been appointed the new mayor of Mogadishu, statement from the office of Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo said Sunday.

The President’s statement comes as link between the former Mayor Tabit Abdi Mohamed and villa Somalia has worsened in the past few days.
