Garowe police chief wounded in shooting

Garowe-(Puntland Mirror) Garowe police chief Mohamoud Muse Bile popularly known as “Fardafuul” has been wounded in a shooting in Garowe city on Wednesday, security sources said.

The shooting occurred in a residential home in Garowe as police trying to arrest a man accused of raping a girl, according to the source.

“The man opened fire to the police, and one of the bullets struck right hand of the police chief,” the source told Puntland Mirror.

The man was shot and wounded by police officers after he wounded their chief.

Mr Fardafuul was taken to hospital in Armo town and he is in good health.
